Dr. Renee Hunter, D.C.

Dr. Renee Hunter holds dual licensure as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with advanced training in functional, regenerative, and nutritional medicine. She is the founder and clinical director of Real Healthcare Clinic in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Her care model integrates both conventional and evidence-based integrative approaches, emphasizing physiology, prevention, and root-cause restoration rather than symptom suppression.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Hunter has contributed directly to the advancement of national standards of care.

  • She was twice selected as a Delphi panelist for the Clinical Compass projects that established Best Practice Guidelines for Chiropractic Management of Chronic Pain (2020) and Neck Pain (2019), both published in peer-reviewed medical journals (Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine and Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics).
  • She has coordinated and designed physician-training seminars and continuing-education conferences, developing curriculum for doctors across the United States on topics including nutritional medicine, metabolic disorders, and pediatric health.
  • Her national speaking engagements include presentations for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Life University, the Iowa Chiropractic Society, Sherman College Lyceum, and numerous integrative health conferences focused on chronic illness and prevention.

She is also the Founder and President of the Foundation for Pediatric Health (FFPH)—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving childhood wellness through Education, Prevention, and Recovery. The Foundation develops bilingual, evidence-based educational programs that help parents understand how nutrition, environment, and early intervention shape lifelong health. Its mission and vision—“A world where every child’s body is understood, protected, and fully supported to heal”—reflect Dr. Hunter’s belief that empowering parents is the first step toward reversing the chronic disease epidemic in children.

Dr. Hunter’s practice model emphasizes transparency, education, and partnership. She researches continually, referencing NIH, PubMed, and international medical literature to ensure every recommendation is scientifically grounded. Patients are encouraged to understand their physiology and make informed, confident decisions about their care. This reflects Dr. Hunter’s belief that understanding the human body is the foundation of disease prevention and recovery.

“Your body isn’t broken — it’s communicating. My job is to help you understand what it’s saying.”
Real Healthcare Clinic operates on the principle that informed patients make empowered choices. Every protocol—from thyroid optimization and nutrient repletion to advanced diagnostic testing—is built to support the body’s natural intelligence and restore lasting balance.
