Tired of Living with Headaches?
Millions of Americans suff¬er from episodic & chronic migraine and cluster headaches, resulting in 150 million work days lost every year, costing Americans over $10 Billion in direct costs, annually. In as little as a few minutes, our head pain treatment, formally called a sphenopalatine ganglion (SPG) block, provides most patients with immediate relief of headache pain. SPG blocks, administered like a nasal spray, achieve neuromodulation of the sphenopalatine ganglion complex. The sphenopalatine ganglion is a collection of nerve cells located just under the tissue lining the back of the nose. By applying a local anesthetic to the region, nerve impulses can be temporarily blocked, allowing relief from pain. It is expected to work for all types of migraines and for most types of headache pain, from cluster headaches to trigeminal neuralgia to atypical facial pain and more—with long-lasting relief.

Most insurance companies, as well as Medicare, cover the SPG block procedure. In addition, if you’re currently taking medicine for migraines, it is highly advised that you explore whether this simple, safe procedure may, over time, replace the need for migraine narcotics (which is of benefit for your health and your wallet).
